Getting Started Checklist for Coaches

If you're a new Coach on the Metronome software - we're so excited you're here! This article will help you get the most out of your account to optimize working with your clients!

Step 1: Set Up Your Own Coach Account

To get started, we highly recommend treating your own coach account as a company and setting this up within the platform to practice using the tools and functionalities. This firsthand experience will help you effectively coach your clients in the software!

  1. Setting up your Coach account

    1. Use the company Getting Set Up checklist within your coach account to familiarize yourself with the platform’s features.

  2. Set up your Templates

    1. One Page Plan Templates

      1. Use and customize existing One Page Plan templates to match your coaching style, then save them as Coach Templates.

    2. Meeting Templates

      1. Start with global Meeting templates, customize them, and save as Coach Templates for use across all client companies.

  3. Explore Coach Notes

    1. Utilize the Coach Notes feature to document progress and plans for each company you coach. These notes are private and accessible only to you. Learn More


Step 2: Managing your Subscription

Once you’re familiar with the platform, you're ready to start adding companies to your coach account! To do this, you'll need to:

  1. Ensure you have an active coach subscription
  2. Understand how pricing and seats work

Step 3: Learn to Manage Your Companies

  1. Managing My Companies

    1. With your preferred coach account subscription, you can add the companies you coach into your account to benefit from a lower plan.

    2. When you add a company to your coach account, you can either set up a new company that doesn't yet exist in the software, or you can add an existing company that's already set up within Metronome. See articles for this below:
