Whether you are new to the platform or have used it before, this quick-tip checklist allows you to set up your Metronomics Software profile so you are able to navigate with ease with great results.

As a coach, we recommend you set-up your own business on the platform first and use it to execute your own business. This allows you to fully understand the functionality of the platform to ensure success when you begin to add your coaching clients.

Coach Notes: it's a place for coaches to prepare and keep notes about what they have worked on with the companies they coach. Coach Notes are private to the coach only. video link here

An easy place to get started in the software as a new coach is to prepare a OPP Template and Meeting Templates in your own company first, you then can save as Coach Templates to share across all the companies that you coach. Set-up your “Coach” templates before adding clients to ensure your clients are using the format you prefer.

  • OPP Template: Metronome has several One Page Plan templates available. As a coach you are able to make changes to the OPP and save as your own template to share with the companies you work with. video link here
  • Meeting Templates: As a coach you are able to set up meeting templates. We recommend to use one of the existing global templates as a framework, then customize the meeting agenda to suit a format you prefer. video link here

BELOW ARE STEPS IN ADDING A NEW COMPANY

1. ADD COMPANY

By setting up your client from your My Companies page, you will be granted access to their account so you are able to log-in at any time and get a view of where they stand on their goals. If your client is already a user on the platform, ask them to add you as a coach on the Team Members page so you will have access to their account. Once they do this, you will see them on your My Companies page. video link here or see step by step here

2. COMPANY SETTINGS

Once you add a new company, it's recommended to initially start the new company with the following modules turned off - Rolling Metrics, KFFM, Swimlanes, Action Items and Reviews. The modules can be turned back on at a later date when team members are ready to use. video link here or see step by step here

3. ADD TEAM MEMBERS

When you add the team members you will want to set them up with the appropriate permission levels. You may want the company to add the team members, you will need to enter at least one Team Member with Admin or Assistant permission level to access. video link here
