Release Notes - October 2026

Here's everything that changed in Metronome Software this month. This release focused on reliability across the new-look pages, with Meetings and the Sprintlanes and Swimlanes boards now live, plus updates ahead of the Canadian permanent time change.

 

Time Zone and Scheduling

Meeting times and calendar invites now reflect the permanent time change on November 1, 2026 in British Columbia, Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Manitoba. 

  • Meeting times and calendar (.ics) invites now generate correctly for these time zones.
  • Time zone data is read from your browser, so keep your browser up to date to see the corrected times.

Daily Dashboard

 The Daily Dashboard is the team’s single, at-a-glance view for the daily huddle. This release improves input responsiveness, quarter handling at quarter boundaries, and tab alignment in the new-look experience. 

  • Fixed: A temporary issue where typing values in the Metrics tab was lagging has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary issue where the platform was slow and some users were unable to log in has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary issue where the Daily Dashboard showed the next quarter on the last day of the current quarter has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary issue where the tab border was not aligned with the standard design has been resolved.

KFFM

 The Key Function Flow Map helps leaders map which functions are key to making money. This release improves mobile typing and the accuracy of KFFM colors in screenshots. 

  • Fixed: A temporary issue where typing and autocorrect were not functioning properly on mobile has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary issue where KFFM colors were inaccurate in screenshots has been resolved.

Swimlanes and Sprintlanes

 The Sprintlanes and Swimlanes planning boards are now live for all customers. This release adds layout and usability refinements.

  • Sub-priorities now display as week cards, with company and annual priority indicators.
  • Swimlanes now uses the standard secondary header, with the extra gap between cells removed.
  • The main add buttons on both boards are now outlined for a more consistent look.
  • Tooltips and title styling have been refined, along with additional layout adjustments based on user feedback.

Metrics

 Metrics accuracy and navigation improved this release.

  • Fixed: A temporary issue where the back arrow on Company Metrics pagination was not working has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary issue where two metrics with the same target displayed with inconsistent rounding has been resolved.

Quarterly Priorities

Quarterly Priorities help teams navigate, edit, and review their quarterly work.  This release keeps priority data clean through the quarter transition 

  •  Fixed: A temporary issue where Quarterly Priorities were duplicated for a small number of users after a quarter rollover has been resolved. 

Action Items

 Action Items help teams track tasks and follow up after meetings. 

  • Fixed: A temporary issue with the user interface on the Action Items page has been resolved. 

Meetings

 Meetings are now live for all customers in the new-look experience. This release resolves a set of issues related to performance, display, and agenda behavior.

  • Fixed: A temporary issue causing slower performance in Meetings has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary limited issue where some meetings displayed as corrupted has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary limited issue where the coach input field and previous session content were missing in 1:1 meetings has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary issue where extra spacing appeared around Questions has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary issue where a Priorities agenda item filtered by tag showed unrelated priorities when no priorities had that tag has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary issue where agenda items were not displaying in the new-look Meetings page has been resolved.
  • Fixed: A temporary issue where refreshing a KFFM agenda item did not pick up function name or owner changes has been resolved.

Team View

 Team View gives a complete picture of your organization and its scorecards. 

  •  Fixed: A temporary issue where Team View was missing scorecards and not rendering completely has been resolved. 

Scorecards

Scorecards give each person a clear view of their accountabilities, competencies, roles, core values, and linked metrics. This release resolves a scorecard-locking issue and adds further refinements in the new-look experience.

  • Fixed: A temporary issue where Scorecards were locking has been resolved.
  • Additional refinements have been made to the new-look Scorecards page.

Company Settings

 Company Settings is where customers configure company-level options. 

  •  Fixed: A temporary issue where the formatting toolbar displayed behind the text box in the Create Summary Email editor has been resolved. 

Coach Plan

 Coach Plan meetings now support the correct Canadian time zones. 

  •  The Coach Plan meeting dialog now offers the correct Canadian time zones.
