Why Is My Metric’s Status Colour Blank?

Metric status colors help track progress toward your goals. If no color appears, it typically means some required information is missing. Here’s what to check:

When Metrics Show a Blank Status Color

  1. Targets and Actuals Not Entered:
    If either the target or actual data is missing, the system can’t calculate progress—so the status color will remain blank.

  2. Start of a New Quarter:
    At the beginning of a new quarter, if targets and actuals haven't been entered yet, status colors won't display.

  3. Metric Frequency Settings:
    Metrics set to daily, weekly, or monthly must be updated regularly. If an update is missed based on the selected frequency (set in the Metric’s Properties), the color will remain blank.

  4. Viewing Future Meetings:
    When looking ahead to a future meeting, you may see blank status colors because actuals haven’t yet been entered for those upcoming dates.
