Why are the Metric status colors blank at the start of a new quarter?

 

The status color for metrics will display blank if the metric is not complete in set-up. For example, it is the start of a new quarter and the target and actuals have not yet been entered.

 

 

For a status color to display target pace, the software requires both the targets and actuals to be entered. If either of these are missing, the metrics’ status color will display as blank.  

 

The frequency that the metric is set to be updated, this is selected in the Properties field. If a daily, weekly or monthly is chosen and it hasn't been updated, the status color will display blank. 

 

Another example where you may see blank metrics for status color is when you are viewing future meetings.

For example, next weeks meeting the metrics are showing blank metrics for status color - the reason is the actuals have not yet be added for that future date. The status color will update for target pace when the actuals are entered.
