How do I set privacy settings on Metrics and Quarterly Priorities?
By default, all Metrics and Quarterly Priorities in Metronome are visible to your whole team. If you need to restrict access, you can make them private to specific individuals or teams.
Setting Privacy on a Metric
-
Click on the Metric (it will highlight in green).
-
Navigate to the Properties section and select Privacy.
-
Choose the individuals or teams who should have access.
-
Click anywhere outside the dropdown to save your selection.
Note: If you select "Private", only the metric owner will have access.
Setting Privacy on a Quarterly Priority
Follow the same steps as above to update privacy settings on a Quarterly Priority. You can limit visibility to just yourself or a custom list of people or teams.
Important Considerations
-
Meetings and Privacy: A Metric or Quarterly Priority will only appear in a meeting if the meeting’s attendee list matches the item’s privacy list.
-
Add Yourself First: If you are creating the privacy list, make sure to add yourself. If you don’t, you’ll lose access and will need someone else on the list to re-add you.
