Am I in the Past or the Present? Tips on how to use "Previous Interval”!
Especially useful in your Daily Huddles, ensure your metrics are set up to facilitate better discussions by enabling Previous Interval.
As a reminder, Previous Interval shows data from the most recently completed period based on the frequency of the metric, rather than the current period.
Use it when you're reviewing finalized results, like:
- New Customers (last week)
- Website Visitors (yesterday)
Avoid it for live metrics, such as:
- Operating Cash
- Deals Closed Today
Turn it on by opening a metric’s settings and checking the box Show Previous Interval.
Reminder: You also have the option to turn on Show Previous Interval from meetings through the metric agenda item settings. If your metric settings does not have Show Previous Interval turned on, but your meeting agenda item setting does, your meeting will default to the agenda item settings.
