How do I save a Meeting to my Calendar?
Learn how to save Metronome meetings to your Google or Outlook calendar by downloading and importing an ICS file, ensuring all attendees stay informed and organized.
Downloading the ICS File from Metronome
- Click More in the upper right corner.
- Select Save to Calendar.

- This will download an ICS file, which you can import into your preferred calendar.
Adding the Meeting to Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar.
- Click Settings in the upper right corner.
- In the left menu, select Import & Export.
- Click Select file from your computer, then choose the .ics file you downloaded.
- Select the calendar where you want to add the meeting. By default, events are added to your primary calendar.

Adding the Meeting to Outlook Calendar
- Open Outlook.
- In the left menu, click Add Calendar.
- Select Import from file.
- Click Browse, then select the .ics file you downloaded.
- Choose the calendar where you want to add the meeting.
- Click Import.
Once imported, you can invite attendees directly from your calendar.
Note: Only one person needs to download and import the ICS file. Doing so will create every occurrence of that recurring meeting in Outlook or Gmail, and will automatically send calendar invitations to all attendees.
For example, if a daily huddle has ten attendees, one person importing the file will add every recurring occurrence going forward and send invitations to all ten attendees, no one else needs to import it separately.
Meetings can always be adjusted afterward in Outlook or Gmail, just like a regular meeting.
If a Zoom or Teams link is added to the Location field when editing a meeting in Metronome, that link will also be included in the calendar invitation.
