How do I stop or start tracking a Metric from an earlier period?

If you would like to end a Metric (no longer track it), rather than delete it, you may stop tracking it to keep the metric history.

Click on the Metric (it will highlight green), in Properties section navigate to Tracking (from/until) and select drop-down arrow. Next select Ongoing and select the period you would like to stop tracking in.

Once the stop tracking period has been selected, the metric will no longer be seen in future periods. To look back at the metric history, select the period from the drop-down arrow and select the period when the metric was still being tracked. You will see in the metric properties the Tracking (from/until) listed for the metric.

If you wish to start tracking a metric in an earlier period, in the Tracking (from/until), select the 'From' drop-down arrow to select the period you wish to start tracking.
