-
-
Review Past Data
-
To view the metric's history, use the date filter to navigate back to a period when the metric was active. The metric will reappear for any period within the original tracking range.
-
How to Start Tracking a Metric from an Earlier Period
If you'd like a metric to show up for an earlier time frame:
-
Select the Metric
-
Click on the metric to highlight it.
-
-
Adjust the Start Period
-
In the Tracking (from/until) section, click the From drop-down and choose the earlier period you'd like the metric to start tracking from.
-
Restarting a Metric You Previously Stopped Tracking
If you’ve stopped tracking a metric and now want to use it again:
Option 1: Resume from its last tracked period
-
Go to the last period when the metric was active.
-
Remove or update the Until date in the Tracking settings so the metric becomes active again through to the current period.
Option 2: Start fresh in a new period
-
If several quarters have passed and you don’t need the old data moving forward, click the More button (top right of the screen), then select Copy Metric.
-
On the copied version, set a new From tracking date starting in the current or desired quarter.
By using tracking controls instead of deleting, you maintain data integrity and keep a full record of past performance—while ensuring your dashboards stay clean and relevant!
