How do I see the Year To Date (YTD) using Metrics?

View year-to-date progress directly from the Rolling Metrics page.

The Rolling Metrics page in Metronome is the best place to view your progress year-to-date (YTD) across multiple periods. This view allows you to track how your actuals and targets are progressing, with the flexibility to adjust how data is displayed based on your needs.

How to view YTD Metrics:

1. Go to the Rolling Metrics page
   From here, you can view and forecast targets across weeks, months, or quarters.

2. Adjust your columns for a clearer YTD view
   a. Click the More button in the top-right corner.
   b. Select Column Layout.
   c. Deselect Month to remove monthly columns and show only quarter-over-quarter data.

3. Forecasting and YTD
   Forecasting targets for each period gives you a clear picture of where you stand relative to your annual goals. As your data fills in, your YTD totals and trends will become easier to interpret from the Rolling Metrics page.

This setup is especially useful for leadership teams reviewing quarterly progress or setting targets for the remainder of the year.
