What’s Changed: Annual Priorities

Here’s a quick overview of what’s new for Annual Priorities in this release:

• A more modern, refreshed interface

• Resizable sidebar for greater flexibility and screen control

• Key actions moved out of overflow menus and into the page header

• Clear ownership requirements to improve accountability

• Easier access to Quarterly Priority actions

Note: This page can be enabled or disabled using the Ability to turn pages on or off setting.

Annual Priorities Updates

We’ve made several updates to Annual Priorities to improve clarity, accountability, and ease of use.

What’s new:

• General UI improvements: A cleaner, more modern look and feel.

• Resizable sidebar: Adjust the sidebar width to suit how you like to work.

• Actions moved to the page header: All "More" button actions now live in the page header, making them easier to find and access.

• Owner required: Annual Priorities now require an owner to ensure clear accountability.

• Quarterly Priority actions surfaced: Actions related to Quarterly Priorities have been moved out of the three-dot menu and are now easier to access directly.

These updates are designed to make Annual Priorities easier to use and more intuitive through a cleaner interface, smarter workflows, and improved loading times, making it easier to manage priorities and notes efficiently through:

• Clear accountability through required ownership

• Less friction by surfacing key actions where you need them

• A consistent, modern experience that supports long-term planning

The changes also set the foundation for our development team to deliver future enhancements more quickly and effectively through.

1. Can I get notifications about these changes in the future? 

Yes! Updates are announced in several places: 

→ Email – If you’re subscribed to Metronome emails, you’ll receive updates like the one titled “A Fresh New Look Is Here 🎉” sent on Wednesday, February 4th. If you are not currently subscribed, you can update this through your Account Details via the Email Notifications box! 

→ Metronome System Updates - Each month, we publish a roundup of updates and changes. This can be found in the Help Center and will include sub sections for:

• New Features & Enhancements - large updates to the system including key feature upgrades
• Release Notes - general improvements we do each month

 

2. Will there be more updates? 
→ Yes. You can expect to see some changes designed with the interion of making your experience with the platform better.
