How do I create a Review Template?

Creating a Review Template in Metronome allows you to save time by reusing the layout, sections, and custom topics from previous reviews. Once set up, you can copy this template into new reviews without manually entering all details.

You can create a template in Reviews by using the layout from previous reviews and copying it over to your new review.  See the information and screenshots below on how you can do this.

Setting up a New Template:

To create the Review to be used as the Template, first click Add Review in the upper right corner.

Enter the name such as "Review Template". You can select yourself as the reviewee.

💡 Tip: A reviewee must be selected to create a regular or template review. If you don't want to assign it to an existing user, you may consider setting up a Test User in your company if you have the available seats.

Next, fill out the information in Sections, Score Type, Notes and Custom Topics that you want to be part of the Template and click Add. It's that simple!

When you want to use the Template, all you do is click the Add Review button again, select "Copy sections, score type, notes, and customer topics from" and select the Review Template of your choice, and update the remaining details, such as Date, Reviewee, Reviewer and Functions.

Using Existing Reviews as Templates:

If you already have Reviews set up in Metronome with the preferred template layout, you can copy it over to a new template.

First, create your template using the instructions above and choose an appropriate name (eg. Review Template) as well as the Reviewee. Then select "Copy sections, score type, notes, and customer topics from" and select the existing Review to be used as the new Template.

From there, this will be saved as a new Template that can be copied over to new Reviews!
