How do I adjust the frequency of a Meeting?
Meeting frequency can't be changed after creation, but you can create a new meeting and end the existing one while keeping past occurrences.
When you set up a recurring Meeting, the day of the week and how often it occurs cannot be adjusted. We know however that things change, and you may need to move meeting occurrences.
While you aren't able to adjust the frequency of an existing meeting, you are able to create an exact copy that can be used for future occurrences with new dates assigned.
How to Create a New Meeting with a Different Frequency
- Navigate to the Meetings Page.
- Select the Meeting: From the drop-down menu, choose the meeting you want to end.
- Click Copy Meeting in the top right corner.
- Adjust Meeting Details: Set the desired frequency, name, time, and attendees.
- Click Add Meeting to save.
How to End a Recurring Meeting
- Navigate to the Meetings Page.
- Select the Meeting: From the drop-down menu, choose the meeting you want to end.
- Edit the Meeting: Click More in the top right corner and select Edit Meeting.
- Set the Last Occurrence: In the Frequency Occurs field, adjust the number until the desired end date appears.
- Click Save to finalize. The meeting will end, but history remains accessible.
This process ensures you maintain past meeting records while setting up a new meeting with the correct frequency.
