When creating a meeting in Metronome, the best approach is to start with a Meeting Template. Templates provide a structured framework that you can customize by adding Agenda Items to fit your meeting rhythm.
Metronome offers eight types of Agenda Items, each designed to help organize and drive effective discussions:
1. Question
- Allows attendees to respond to a prompt by filling in a meeting bubble.
- The title is editable.
- Team Member Filter can be applied if only certain attendees should respond.
2. Topic
- A simple agenda item used to discuss key topics.
- Only Admins and Meeting Admins can create or modify.
- The title is editable and can be set to reset every meeting occurrence or remain ongoing.
3. Priority Search
- Automatically pulls priorities from the current quarter.
- The title is editable (e.g., "Marketing Function Q3 Priorities").
- Filters available:
- Status color (e.g., on track, off track).
- Text filter (search by title).
- Company priorities only or all priorities.
- Tags filter and Attendee filter.
- Show hierarchy (includes sub-priorities).
4. Metric Search
- Pulls relevant Metrics for the current quarter.
- The title is editable (e.g., "Marketing Metrics Review").
- Filters available:
- Status color (e.g., green, yellow, red).
- Text filter (search by metric title).
- Metric frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly).
- Company Metrics only or all metrics.
- Tags filter and Attendee filter.
- Show Previous Interval (e.g., show last week's data).
5. Outstanding Action Items
- Lists all incomplete action items tied to the meeting.
- The title is editable.
6. Priority-Related Action Items
- Displays action items linked to current priorities.
- The title is editable.
- Filters available:
- Text filter (search by priority title).
- Tags filter.
- Hide completed action items.
- Filter by due date (e.g., due in the next 7 days).
7. Stuck Action Items Search
- Identifies action items that are blocked.
- The title is editable.
- Filters available:
- Group by Blocking Team Member or Stuck Team Member.
- Filter by Attendees.
- Displays stuck action items across all meetings for the selected attendees.
8. Completed Action Items
- Lists all action items completed in a set timeframe (e.g., last 30 days).
- The title is editable.
- Filters available:
- Text filter (search by action item title).
- Filter by Attendees.
- Specify timeframe (e.g., completed in the last 14 days).
